Marsha Williams

MARSHA L. WILLIAMS received her B.A. degree from Oklahoma State University and her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Texas. She is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, and has been recognized as a Top Lawyer in Banking and Finance Law and Top Lawyer in Real Estate Law.

Ms. Williams’ practice has been devoted to mortgage banking. She has made numerous presentations related to regulatory compliance to industry and legal conferences and has published articles in various legal and trade journals. She was a co-author of Pratt’s State Regulation of Second Mortgages and Home Equity Loans and a contributing editor for the States of Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana for Residential Mortgage Lending: State Regulation Manual published by Clark, Boardman, and Callaghan. Ms. Williams previously lived in Dallas and practiced law as Senior Attorney for Asurity Technologies and Senior Attorney for the Mortgage Resources Group and for the Middleberg Riddle Group in Dallas, Texas.

Currently, Ms. Williams serves on the Governing Committee of The Conference on Consumer Finance Law and is Immediate Past-President for the Board of Advocates for the University of Oklahoma College of Arts and Sciences.
